THE MISSION OF HEBRAIC CALENDAR
The mission of the Hebraic Calendar is to provide the community of Hebrew Yisrael with a tool that reconciles days, weeks, months, and the year, found in the Hebraic writings, into one document overlayed with the Gregorian Calendar.
We believe education is essential in understanding the Hebrew Calendar. Therefore, we invite you to read “About the Calendar” in the link below. This website will assist in your understanding of the Hebrew Calendar and how the calendar is formed.
The Most-High, Yahweh, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, has given his people signs in the sky (heaven) so we can properly calculate our days, weeks, months, years, appointed times, and festivals.
Hebrew Yisrael has commandments (mitzvots) that direct/instruct us to observe the appointed times designated by Yahweh, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh.
Ergo, it is imperative we have a good understanding of what the Most-High, Yahweh, expects of us in total obedience to his edicts.
HOW TO READ THE CALENDAR
The Book of Enoch, Chapter 72, Verse 1-32, establishes a pattern concerning the number of days in a month.
The first month has 30 days, the second month has 30 days, and the third month has 31 days. This completes the first season (Spring). The second season (Summer) has 3 months. The first month in the second season has 30 days, the second month in the second season has 30 days, and the third month in the second season has 31 days. The number of days, per month, in any given season (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) follows the pattern of 30 days (1st month in the season), 30 days (2nd month in the season), and 31 days (3rd month in the season).
The sample below demonstrates how the Hebrew Calendar has been superimposed over the Gregorian Calendar. The ‘big” number in the middle represents the Hebrew day in the month. The small number in the top left corner represents the Gregorian day in the Gregorian month.
